MWT Education Consultancy has successfully completed the Kottayam session of its Australia Nursing Opportunity
Seminar series, marking the first event in its May 2026 schedule. The event witnessed a turnout of local nursing
aspirants, recent graduates, and final-year students eager to better understand their opportunities and pathways
towards a nursing career in Australia.
The seminar aimed to provide practical guidance on the Australian nursing pathways, breaking down the complex
registration process and the common challenges candidates may face along the way. Participants also had the
opportunity to interact directly with the speakers, raise questions, and gain clarity on concerns related to
planning a successful nursing career in Australia.
The session was led by Thomas Cherian, Director of MWT Education Consultancy, and Soniya Vivek, Deputy General
Manager, who shared professional insights to make it through the strict regulatory standards and requirements
set by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). A major focus of the day was breaking down
the Outcomes-Based Assessment (OBA) pathway for internationally qualified nurses and midwives. By highlighting
common documentation errors and procedural challenges, MWT prepared attendees with the accurate, step-by-step
guidance required to navigate through the Australian nursing registration process.
With the Kottayam session now completed, the seminar series will continue in Calicut on 16 May 2026 at Alhind
Calicut Tower and Kochi on 23 May 2026 at MWT Education Consultancy. Both remaining sessions are scheduled from
10:00 AM to 1:00 PM and are expected to offer similar guidance for nurses across Kerala.
